Gnosis Score: An esoteric knowledge self-assessment

The Gnosis Score is a free self-assessment of esoteric knowledge. You rate eighteen statements, two for each of the nine pillars this site covers, by how familiar the idea is to you and how much of it you practise. It takes about five minutes and needs no account. The score is computed in your browser and your answers stay there. The result is a radar map of your own ratings, with a figure for each pillar and a link to its page.

A mirror, not a test: this is a self-reflection, not a validated measure. The score is your own ratings, averaged.

The nine pillars

What the statements cover

Two statements for each pillar of the site. Each pillar has its own page and a long guide; the two terms under it are the ideas its statements ask about.

Read all eighteen statements

Gnostic Cosmology

  1. I can describe the Gnostic view of how the material world came into being through emanation and the fall of Sophia.
  2. I can explain what the archons are in texts such as the Apocryphon of John, and how they differ from the Demiurge.

Practical Alchemy

  1. I understand transmutation as an inner process of transforming emotional lead into spiritual gold.
  2. I have a regular practice that involves conscious alchemical operations — calcination, dissolution, or coagulation.

Consciousness Frequencies

  1. I can identify where I sit on the emotional frequency scale on any given day and consciously shift upward.
  2. I know David Hawkins' map of consciousness, where courage at 200 marks the turn from contraction to expansion, and that its numbers come from muscle testing, which blinded tests do not support.

Body as Temple

  1. I treat my body as a sacred vessel — what I consume physically, emotionally, and digitally is a conscious choice.
  2. I have direct experience with breathwork, fasting, or energy practices that opened perceptions beyond the ordinary.

Matrix Decoded

  1. I can see repeating societal programs and control structures that most people accept without question.
  2. I can explain the simulation hypothesis, and where it does and does not match the Gnostic picture of a world made by a lesser maker.

Shadow & Psyche

  1. I actively work with parts of myself I would rather not see — the rejected, the denied, the exiled.
  2. I understand projection as a mirror — what triggers me in others reveals something unintegrated in me.

Celestial Maps

  1. I can read a natal chart and understand how planetary placements shape the soul's curriculum in this life.
  2. I have experienced a Saturn Return, Chiron Return, or major transit as a genuine initiation, not just a concept.

Esoteric Mastery

  1. I apply the Kybalion's principles (1908), such as correspondence or polarity, as practical tools in daily decisions.
  2. I understand manifestation not as wishful thinking but as alignment of will, frequency, and inner architecture.

Sacred Feminine

  1. The divine feminine is not an abstract idea to me: figures such as the Gnostic Sophia, the Hindu Shakti or the Jewish Shekhinah, each in its own tradition, are part of my inner work.
  2. I understand why gnosis without devotion becomes dry intellectualism, and I cultivate both knowing and surrender.

Questions

Questions people ask

Is the Gnosis Score a test or a quiz?

No. There are no right answers and no key to check them against, and the Score has not been validated as a measure of anything. It averages your own ratings: a picture of how familiar each idea feels to you today.

How is the score worked out?

Each answer is a number from 1 (Unfamiliar) to 5 (I live this). A pillar's figure is the average of its two statements; the overall score is the average of the nine, shown as a percentage on which 1 is 0 % and 5 is 100 %. The strongest and weakest pillars are the highest and lowest averages; when all nine are equal, none is named.

Where are my answers kept?

In this browser only, in one local storage entry, pleroma_gnosis_score, which keeps each result so the next one can be drawn against it; clearing the site's data removes it. Your answers are never sent to the site. If you have allowed analytics, the site counts a coarse score band and the names of your strongest and weakest pillars.

What are the nine pillars?

The nine sections this site is organised by: Gnostic Cosmology, Practical Alchemy, Consciousness Frequencies, Body as Temple, Matrix Decoded, Shadow & Psyche, Celestial Maps, Esoteric Mastery, and Sacred Feminine. Each has a pillar page and a long guide, listed above with the two terms its statements ask about.

How is it different from the path quiz?

The path quiz asks three questions about what draws you and suggests reading paths to start with. The Gnosis Score asks eighteen about what you already know and practise and maps the answers pillar by pillar; its result also points to the reading path of your lowest-rated pillar.

Can I take it again?

Yes, as often as you like. The radar draws your previous result as a dashed line, and the panel shows your last result and how long ago you took it.
