Dated, public, and the only accountability this site has.

Latest correction: 20 October 2026

Posts here are published without a person reading them first. That makes this page load-bearing rather than decorative: it is where this site's errors are recorded, in public, with dates.

An empty log is not evidence of accuracy. It means the site is young, or unread, or both. It becomes evidence only once it has entries — so if you find something wrong, reporting it is a genuine contribution and not a nuisance.

122 corrections

These entries come from an audit of the whole site made on 30 September and 1 October: quotations in posts, guides and lexicon entries were checked against sources that can be opened, what the tools and site pages say was checked against what they compute and do, and what pages say about living scholars and authors was checked against their own published words. Each page with a substantive correction has one entry, grouped below by type.

  1. 2 pages: Privacy Policy; Cookies

The privacy policy said “the raw IP is never stored”. That was not true: most of the counters that limit repeated requests (search, the public Lexicon API, downloads, checkout, the cookie choice and the withdrawal waiver, among others) stored the IP address as received, until about two days after its last request. Every counter now stores only a salted hash. Counters written before the change are deleted by the nightly cleanup within about two days, and drop out of the site’s private backups, which are kept for 30 days, within a month. The policy now describes both kinds of hash and how long the counters are kept. It and the cookie list also left out the birth data that the natal chart, Saturn Return and Chrism Fast tools keep in your browser, and two other keys the site sets there; they are now listed, with how to delete them. The policy also did not mention the daily database backups or the OneDrive account that holds their encrypted copy; it now says what the backups contain, where they are kept and for how long.

  1. The 200 Threshold: Why Courage Is the Gateway State

The post said the Gnostic texts “repeatedly describe the Archons as ‘rulers of blindness’”, a phrase no Gnostic text uses; it now quotes the Hypostasis of the Archons, “Their chief is blind”. The line “The lips of wisdom are closed, except to the ears of understanding” was called “the Hermetic axiom”; it is now credited to the Kybalion (1908), which presents it as Hermetic, and the Bulgarian page now carries it too. Hawkins’ “250,000 calibrations” now reads as his own account in Power vs. Force: millions of calibrations over twenty years.

  2. Active Imagination: Jung's Method for Retrieving the Exiled Self

Gospel of Thomas saying 70 was labelled “Nag Hammadi Library” but quoted in Elaine Pagels’ 1979 wording; it now quotes Mark Mattison’s public-domain translation word for word and names him. The post also said Jung found the method in the Nag Hammadi texts in 1913, though they were found in 1945, and dated their burial to 390 CE; it now says he could not have taken it from them and dates the burial to probably the later fourth century.

  3. AI and Gnosticism: Is the Machine a New Demiurge — or a Better Mirror?

Yaldabaoth’s boast was cited to Marvin Meyer’s 2007 edition, but the wording is Frederik Wisse’s translation; the citation now names Wisse and links the open text.

  4. The Alchemical Maneuver: Mastering Real-Time Transmutation Under Fire

“Stands firm in the midst of the powers” was quoted from the Testimony of Truth, which does not contain it; the page now quotes the text’s own line about “fighting against thoughts of the archons and the powers and the demons”. The Emerald Tablet line now quotes Isaac Newton’s translation word for word; both sources are cited.

  5. The Anahata Frequency: Why Heart-Centered Consciousness Changes Everything

Gospel of Thomas 113 was quoted as a blend of two translations; it now follows Bentley Layton’s word for word, with a citation. The post also said the Desert Fathers preserved the Gospel of Thomas; the text survives in Coptic in Nag Hammadi Codex II, with Greek fragments from Oxyrhynchus, and the post now says so.

  6. Anima, Animus, Yin, Yang: Why East and West Mapped the Same Inner Marriage

Two quotations credited to Jung were not in his texts: the Aion line now quotes §425 verbatim (the page said §41), and the Mysterium Coniunctionis line is now a paraphrase. The Tao Te Ching 42 quotation, which joined two lines of a copyrighted translation into one sentence, now follows James Legge’s public-domain translation; Gospel of Thomas 22 follows Lambdin word for word; and “the cost of not individuating”, the site’s own phrase, is no longer credited to Jung.

Reported by: Pleroma’s own quote audit

  7. Aqua Permanens: The Eternal Water of the Philosophers

“A water that wets not the hands”, given as the alchemists’ “exact phrase”, is not their wording; the page now quotes The Hermetic Museum (1893), “the water which wets not the hand”. Gospel of Thomas 108 now reads “shall” as Lambdin has it, and “water of the chaos”, which the Pistis Sophia does not contain, is replaced by the psalm line the text applies to Sophia.

  8. Archons vs Demons: What's the Difference?

Yaldabaoth’s boast now quotes the Apocryphon of John in full, and “garment of forgetting” is no longer in quotation marks or presented as Gnostic wording, since no Gnostic text uses the phrase; it is the site’s own image. The page also called the title of the Hypostasis of the Archons a deliberate pun meaning “The Rulers Have No Reality”; no source supports that reading, and the sentence now gives the usual translation, “The Reality of the Rulers”.

Reported by: Pleroma’s own quote audit

  9. The Complete Archontic Hierarchy — From the Demiurge to Your Inner Critic

Yaldabaoth’s boast now quotes the Apocryphon of John in full. The “garment of forgetting” passage was credited to the Apocryphon of John, which does not contain it, and a later sentence credited the same image to the Valentinians; both now present it as this map’s own term.

Reported by: Pleroma’s own quote audit

  10. What Does "Archontic" Mean? The Anatomy of a Control Force

Yaldabaoth’s boast was misquoted three times and now reads as in the Apocryphon of John: “I am God and there is no other God beside me”. “Garment of forgetting” was credited to the Apocryphon, which does not use it; Pronoia’s words now follow the text and its order; a paraphrase of “the Gnostics” is no longer set as a quotation; and the claimed “Rulers Have No Reality” pun in the Hypostasis title is removed. The page also said the Apocryphon gives the Demiurge two names; it gives three (Yaltabaoth, Saklas and Samael), and the page now says so.

  11. The Art of Transmutation: Turning Emotional Lead into Spiritual Gold

“As within, so without” was quoted as part of the Hermetic axiom; it is a modern extension, and the page now says so.

  12. As Above, So Below — The Emerald Tablet's Most Misunderstood Axiom

The Tablet’s central line and its line 8 were quoted in wordings no translation has, with above and below in the reverse of the Latin order; both now quote Isaac Newton’s translation, and the page says the Latin starts with what is below. The Arabic version is now quoted from Holmyard’s 1923 translation instead of a paraphrase in quotation marks, the Corpus Hermeticum “second cosmos” (not in the text) is replaced by its own words, the claim that the Sanskrit axiom predates the Tablet by centuries is removed, and the Arabic text is dated to the late eighth or early ninth century.

  13. Barbelo: The First Thought — the Aeon Before Sophia That Almost Nobody Names

The Apocryphon of John passage on Barbelo silently dropped a word and a clause break, and Irenaeus’s “virgin spirit” read “virginal spirit”; both now follow the translations word for word, and each quotation names its translator. The page called John D. Turner’s Sethian Gnosticism and the Platonic Tradition (2001) the standard scholarly treatment, which no source we opened supports. It now names the book and says what it does: it sets the Sethian triad beside Middle Platonist and Neoplatonist metaphysics.

  14. The Bhakti Override — Why Devotion Breaks Circuits Knowledge Cannot

A passage credited to Corpus Hermeticum VI is not in it or in any translation we could find; the page now quotes the treatise’s real line, “One is the Path that leadeth unto It — Devotion joined with Gnosis”. The Corpus Hermeticum I line now follows Mead’s translation, “What is called jnana is itself bhakti”, which we could not trace to Ramana Maharshi, is replaced by the words Arthur Osborne records him saying, “to know God is to love God”, and Sadhguru’s words lose two dashes the source does not have.

  15. Bhramari Pranayama: The Humming Breath That Tunes the Skull From Inside

The Gheranda Samhita passage silently dropped the words “etc., to be heard” and joined two verses; it now follows Vasu’s translation word for word, with the verse break shown.

  16. Your Birth Chart Is Not About Your Personality — It's a Record of Your Soul's Unfinished Business

The Poimandres list of what each planetary zone holds was presented as a descent, though the text gives it for the soul’s ascent; the page now says so, and no longer claims the Poimandres calls these layers “vestments”. A quotation from Richard Tarnas, given in reverse order, has been removed together with the paragraph around it, which the Bulgarian page never had.

  17. Bostrom's Simulation Argument and Plato's Cave: The 2,400-Year Philosophical Chain

A summary of how courses teach Plato’s cave was set in quotation marks, as if quoted; it is now plain paraphrase. The page said Bostrom refused to finish the argument, had said in interviews that it has no action implications, and gave no answer on what to do. We found no such interview, and his paper does discuss the implications, calling them modest. The page now describes what the paper contains and what it leaves out.

A 47-word passage was presented as a quotation from “the Azoth Ritual”; it is not in that text, so the attribution and quotation marks were removed.

  19. The Seven Archons Are the Seven Deadly Sins: How Gnostic Cosmology Mapped the Chakras Before Yoga Reached the West

A side note quoted Damian Sebouhian with words that are not in his essay; it now quotes his actual sentence on the root chakra from his 2024 Medium essay, with a citation to an archived copy, and the Bulgarian page, which lacked the note, now carries it too. The quotation given as On the Origin of the World mixed in wording from the Apocryphon of John, and the Pistis Sophia quotation matched no edition; both now quote the text itself: Origin’s seven androgynous powers (Bethge and Layton) and Mead’s 1921 Pistis Sophia, ch. 31. The page said its sin-to-chakra map drew on Matthew Fox and that Fox puts Greed at the throat. Fox’s map is different: acedia and arrogance at the root, avarice at the heart, gluttony at the throat, envy at the crown. The page now says so and presents its own map as its own.

  20. Chiron Return at 50: When Your Wound Becomes Wisdom

A description of the Chiron Return as restarting the spiritual path by exposing the sacred wound was credited to Melanie Reinhart; the wording is the astrologer Daniel Giamario’s. The page now presents the Chiron Return as a modern astrological reading on which astrologers differ: Giamario’s description, linked to his article, stands beside Reinhart’s reading of Chiron as the Wounded Healer in her book Chiron and the Healing Journey (1989).

  21. Coagulation: The Body of Light Made Permanent — Part 7 of 7

The Emerald Tablet line was a blend of several translations, and a description of the quintessence (“that which the fire cannot burn…”) was credited to “the alchemists” though no text we checked contains it. The Tablet line now quotes Newton’s translation, and the description is in the post’s own words with no attribution. The post also said the Splendor Solis “culminates in” a red king standing outside the vessel and holding it; in the plate descriptions of the 1920 English edition that young king stands inside the flask, in the eighteenth of twenty-two paintings, and the last painting is the rising sun. The sentence now says so and cites that edition.

  22. Conjunction: The Sacred Marriage of Opposites — Part 4 of 7

Two Emerald Tablet lines and Gospel of Thomas saying 22 were quoted in wording that mixed translations, and a phrase set as the Kybalion’s (“the same thing at different degrees of the same scale”) is not in it. They now quote Newton’s Tablet, Lambdin’s Thomas and the Kybalion’s own words (“identical in nature, but different in degree”).

Reported by: Pleroma’s own quote audit

  23. The Consciousness Map: Where Do You Vibrate?

The post said Hawkins built the scale over three decades from more than 250,000 calibrations; Power vs. Force speaks of twenty years and millions of calibrations, and the post now gives that as Hawkins’ own account. It also said Saturn rules the lowest planetary sphere and the Sun the highest; in the Poimandres (Corpus Hermeticum I.25) the soul’s ascent runs from the zone later assigned to the Moon up to Saturn’s, and the passage now says so.

  24. The Cost of Not Individuating: What Jung Warned Us About

A box headed “Jung — Collected Works, Vol. 7” gave two lines as Jung’s: “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are”, which is usually traced to Joseph Campbell and is not in Jung, and “Until you make the unconscious conscious…”, a popular misquote. The box now quotes Jung’s actual sentence from Aion (§126) and says the popular line is a later paraphrase.

  25. David Hawkins Scale of Consciousness: Where Do You Actually Vibrate?

The post said Hawkins reported more than 250,000 calibrations over more than twenty years; Power vs. Force speaks of millions of calibrations over twenty years, and the post now says that, as his own account.

  26. The Demiurge: The Creator-God Who Forgot He Was Not the Highest

Both source pop-ups quoted scripture that does not exist (“But when he said this, he lied…” for the Apocryphon of John; a passage on Sophia weeping for On the Origin of the World), and “I am a jealous God” was credited to the Hebrew scriptures in the Apocryphon’s wording. The pop-ups now quote the two texts as Wisse and Bethge–Layton translate them, and the Exodus 20:5 line is quoted from the King James Version. On the Bulgarian page, a block quote that joined two passages of On the Origin of the World is now the text’s own sentence, and a line about Yaldabaoth seeing his reflection in the waters now follows the Apocryphon.

  27. Emerald Tablet Decoded: 13 Lines That Change Everything

The “Complete Text” box was a composite that matches no edition, and the in-text quotations of the Tablet followed it. The box now gives Isaac Newton’s translation verbatim with its manuscript line, every quotation in the post follows Newton, “As above, so below” is described as a condensed phrase rather than a line of the Tablet, and the earliest Arabic text is dated to the late 8th or early 9th century instead of “8th-century manuscripts”.

  28. Eve and Sophia: The Same Fall, Two Tellings

Four quotations from the Hypostasis of the Archons, On the Origin of the World and the Gospel of Philip were reworded or cut short, and one ran to about 100 words of a copyrighted translation. They now match the published translations (Layton, Bethge–Layton, Isenberg), the Origin line keeps the words “who had no soul”, and the long passage is cut to under 50 words. The page called it Elaine Pagels’s entire thesis that orthodoxy won through political structure plus heresiology. It now states the argument of The Gnostic Gospels (1979) more exactly: the disputes had political as well as religious stakes, and church hierarchy helped orthodoxy prevail.

  29. Fermentation: The Death That Feeds the New Life — Part 5 of 7

The post said Jung coined the term “ego-Self axis”. The term comes from his successors Erich Neumann and Edward Edinger, and the sentence now says so.

  30. The Five Initiations of the Body Temple: From Sensation to Sanctification

“The central and deepest mystery” was quoted as the Gospel of Philip’s words, which it is not; 1 Corinthians 15:44 was quoted in a paraphrase; and two Yoga Sutras lines came from an uncredited copyrighted translation. The Philip phrase is now the post’s own description, Paul is quoted from the King James Version, the sutras from Charles Johnston’s 1912 translation, and the Philip and Corpus Hermeticum XIII lines follow Isenberg and Mead.

  31. The Four Elements Are You: Why 'Lead Into Gold' Actually Works

A Jung quotation from Psychology and Alchemy was stitched together from several places, a Paracelsus pop-up quoted a later summary of the three principles that is not in his text, and the Emerald Tablet line blended translations. The Jung pop-up now quotes §345, the Paracelsus citation keeps its reference without the quotation, and the Tablet line follows Newton.

  32. Gnosis vs Faith: What the Gnostics Actually Believed

The side-by-side passages from Clement’s Stromata and Gospel of Thomas saying 3 were paraphrases set as quotations, and Monoimus was quoted in a rendering from a copyrighted book. All three now quote open translations: the Ante-Nicene Fathers for Clement and for Hippolytus’ report of Monoimus, and Lambdin for Thomas. The page said Michael Williams and Karen King had shown that the groups called Gnostic disagreed with each other constantly, and that Elaine Pagels made the authority point famous. It now says what their books argue: Williams (1996) and King (2003) that the label wrongly suggests one unified movement, and Pagels in The Gnostic Gospels (1979) that the fight was about authority as much as theology.

  33. Gnosticism and Simulation Theory: 12 Connections Between Nag Hammadi and Digital Metaphysics

Both language versions quoted Hans Jonas’s The Gnostic Religion with sentences that are not in the book (a different invented sentence in each), and the Bulgarian Bostrom quotation silently dropped words. Both pages now quote Jonas’s own sentence on radical dualism and the same passage of Bostrom’s paper, and the Bulgarian page gains the Gospel of Thomas saying the English page quotes. The page said Bostrom’s argument concludes we are likely in a simulation and names no operator or enforcement. It argues that at least one of three propositions is true, names posthuman simulators and mentions enforcement in passing; the page now says so.

  34. Gnosticism and the Simulation Hypothesis: The 2,000-Year-Old Exit Protocol

A practice step quoted “the Gnostic texts” as saying “that which was before the foundation of the world”; the phrase is New Testament wording and is not in the Gnostic texts we checked. The step now describes the Gnostic idea of the spark from beyond this world without a quotation. The page said Bostrom refuses to discuss enforcement and to say what to do, and that his trilemma says one of his premises must be false. His paper mentions enforcement in passing, calls the implications modest and says at least one of three propositions is true; the page now matches it.

  35. The Hermetic Daily Protocol: Living All 7 Laws Before Noon

The Corpus Hermeticum was quoted with lines it does not contain (“He who understands the Father will be as the Father” in English, a different invented line in Bulgarian), the Emerald Tablet box was not in any translation, and the Bulgarian page added “as within, so without” to the Hermetic axiom. Both pages now quote Corpus Hermeticum XI.20 and Newton’s Tablet, and the axiom reads “as above, so below” only.

  36. How to Avoid Shadow Projections from Others — The Jungian Mirror Method

The quotation “Every man carries within himself an eternal image of woman…” was credited to Jung’s Aion; it comes from his 1925 essay “Marriage as a Psychological Relationship” and now quotes the 1928 Baynes translation, with that citation. The Bulgarian page credited to Aion a sentence that is not in Jung’s writings and quoted an untraceable line from Unseen Warfare; it now quotes the same three verified passages as the English page (Aion §17, the Gospel of Philip, the 1925 essay). A Reddit question is no longer shown as a quotation.

  37. Kundalini Awakening: Signs, Stages, and How to Navigate It Safely

The post placed Jung’s 1932 Kundalini seminar at the ETH Zurich; it was held at the Psychological Club in Zurich, and the sentence now says so.

  38. The Kybalion Explained: History, Controversy, and the 7 Laws That Shaped Western Esotericism

The dates on three library citations now follow the Library: the Corpus Hermeticum and the Divine Pymander c. 100–300 CE, the Emerald Tablet late 8th–early 9th century CE (earliest Arabic text). The page called Philip Deslippe’s 2011 edition a centennial edition and said he and Nicholas Chapel had shown the book owes more to New Thought than to Hermeticism. The edition is The Kybalion: The Definitive Edition; the page now says Deslippe’s introduction argues for Atkinson’s authorship and sets the book in New Thought, and that Chapel’s 2013 essay argues it belongs to New Thought rather than Hermetic philosophy.

  39. Matrix Decoded: Are You an NPC or a Player?

The Apocryphon of John quotation dropped a word; it now reads “I am God and there is no other God beside me” (Wisse). The post also said the text “explicitly calls this a lie”; it does not, and the sentence now gives what the text adds: that he is ignorant of his strength, the place from which he had come. The page said the Wachowskis smuggled Nag Hammadi into the film and named the awakening taking the red pill. It now presents the Gnostic reading as a reading and attributes the red-pill phrase to the film.

  40. The Onion Theory of the Matrix — Every Layer You Peel Reveals Another Prison

The Thunder, Perfect Mind quotation dropped two words; it now reads “I am the honored one and the scorned one” as in MacRae’s translation.

  41. The Nadi Shodhana Gateway — Alternate Nostril Breathing as Frequency Technology

An anonymous forum post was shown as a quotation, followed by a first-person reaction; it is now a described question with no quotation marks, and the reaction is gone. The Yoga Sutras citation now dates the text c. 2nd–5th century CE (traditionally 2nd century BCE).

  42. The Narcissist as Archon: Why Narcissists Are the Perfect Archontic Vessel (Gnostic Psychology)

“I am the only God” appeared in quotation marks as the Demiurge’s words; the Apocryphon of John says “I am God and there is no other God beside me”. The summary now paraphrases, the section heading quotes the text, one extra word (“of”) was removed from the Wisse quotation, and the Hypostasis of the Archons passage is now quoted as two exact spans instead of one joined line.

  43. The Natal Chart as Your Soul's Curriculum: What Each Placement Decodes

Two quotations credited to Jung’s Aion and Richard Tarnas’s Cosmos and Psyche could not be found in those books and were removed; the page now quotes the Poimandres (Mead’s translation) on the seven planetary rulers. The Poimandres does not list the planetary qualities the post gave it, and the passage now says what the text says. Two Reddit questions are no longer shown as quotations with vote counts, and an invented first-person line was removed.

Reported by: Pleroma’s own quote audit

  44. The Nous Faculty: Training Your Inner Eye for Direct Knowing

The Poimandres quotation joined and reworded two passages, and a line on Nous aiding the devout was a paraphrase in quotation marks; both now quote Mead’s translation (CH I.1, I.6, I.22), with the citation, and the diagram no longer puts a quotation in Poimandres’ mouth. The Gospel of Mary is now placed in the Berlin Codex, not Nag Hammadi, and the answer about seeing through the mind is given to the Teacher, as in the text. The page put “the mind rejoices” in quotation marks as the Discourse on the Eighth and Ninth’s description of the Eighth; the text does not say it, and it does not list the seven layers of conditioned consciousness the page credited to it. The page now quotes the teacher’s words in the Brashler, Dirkse and Parrott translation (“the entire eighth, my son, and the souls that are in it, and the angels, sing a hymn in silence. And I, Mind, understand.”) and marks the seven-layer reading as its own.

The Bulgarian post quoted the question Deunov answers with the grain of wheat as „какво тогава да правим“ and put it in his listeners’ mouths. The 1914 stenogram reads „Какво трябва да правим?“, a question people often ask; both versions now say so.

  46. Pistis: The Gnostic Faith That Is Not Belief — The Quality Sophia Lost and Found

The quotation of Gospel of Thomas logion 2 matched no published translation, though it was cited to Marvin Meyer’s 1992 edition. It now quotes the Scholars Version by Stephen Patterson and Marvin Meyer (The Complete Gospels, Polebridge 1992) word for word, and the citation names that edition.

  47. Pistis Sophia: What the Oldest Gnostic Confession Reveals About You

The Pistis Sophia excerpt was cited to the Brill edition but linked to a website and matched neither; it now quotes Mead’s 1921 translation (ch. 32) with that citation. The Apocryphon of John excerpt now matches Wisse’s wording, and the page now quotes the same texts as the Bulgarian one. The manuscript was not “discovered in 1773”: the London physician Anthony Askew bought it from a bookseller in the early 1770s.

  49. The Schumann Resonance as Gnostic Signal: Why Earth Pulses at 7.83 Hz

“Nothing in the All is dead. Everything that is, lives” was a paraphrase of Corpus Hermeticum XII in quotation marks; the page now quotes Mead’s translation of XII.16 word for word, with that citation. The Emerald Tablet line “in the manner of the One” is in no translation; the page now quotes Newton’s. The Kybalion is no longer called a “reconstruction of older material”.

  50. Separation: The Air That Discerns the Real — Part 3 of 7

The Emerald Tablet line (“…gently, and with great ingenuity”) blended Newton’s translation with a modern one and was cited to a website. It now quotes Isaac Newton’s translation word for word (“Separate thou the earth from the fire, the subtile from the gross sweetly with great indoustry”), and the two sentences that echo it now say “gently and with great care”.

  51. The 7 Hermetic Principles Explained (With Practices)

The page said three times that the words “As above, so below” are on the Emerald Tablet; the Tablet has the idea (“That which is below is like that which is above”, Newton) and the short wording is The Kybalion’s, and the FAQ now says the Tablet carries the idea, not the wording. Asclepius 6 now reads “man is a mighty wonder” (Mead), the Polarity formula is quoted as The Kybalion prints it, and a slogan shown in quotation marks next to a Corpus Hermeticum reference is now plain prose. The page called Philip Deslippe’s 2011 edition of The Kybalion a centennial edition. Its title is The Kybalion: The Definitive Edition (Tarcher/Penguin), and the page now names it so.

  53. The Shadow Projection Mechanism: Why You Can't See What You're Projecting

The excerpt credited to Aion came from Jung’s “Psychology of the Transference” (CW 16); it is now a real Aion passage (para. 423). Jung’s “autonomous complexes” line is now introduced as what he wrote about spirits and cited to CW 8, and an unverifiable Reddit question with a “3,008 times” count is now a plain description.

Both passages in the two-text comparison were composed, not quoted (the “Zohar” one used the 16th-century idea of broken vessels). They are now verbatim from the Idra Zuta (Mathers, 1887) and the Pistis Sophia (Mead, 1921), and the gap between the texts reads roughly a thousand years, not six centuries.

  56. Simulation Hypothesis and Plato's Cave Allegory: 2,400 Years of the Same Diagnosis

Yaldabaoth’s boast dropped a word and is now quoted in full (“no other God beside me”, Wisse). The page said Bostrom described an infinite regress of simulations; his paper says reality may contain many levels, and the page now says that. The boast, Bostrom’s paper and Wheeler’s “it from bit” are now cited. The page said Bostrom refused a step and was deliberately neutral on what to do, and that the Wachowskis drew directly from Gnostic sources. It now describes what Bostrom’s paper does and does not say, and attributes the Gnostic reading of The Matrix to religion scholars Flannery-Dailey and Wagner (2001).

  57. Simulation Hypothesis vs Gnosticism: Same Prison, Different Maps

The Nag Hammadi codices were buried about sixteen centuries before 2003, in one jar, not eighteen centuries earlier in several. The page also had Bostrom concluding that “we are probably in a simulation”; his argument is that at least one of three propositions is true, one being that we almost certainly are, and the page now says so. The page said the Wachowskis explicitly drew from Gnostic sources and that Bostrom deliberately left the builder’s motive open. Neither is in their own words: the Gnostic reading is now attributed to Flannery-Dailey and Wagner (2001), and the page says what Bostrom’s paper leaves open.

The three great planes are now credited to The Kybalion (1908), not the Corpus Hermeticum, the breathing passage cites the Hatha Yoga Pradipika instead of the Yoga Sutras, and the symptom list is framed as the traditions’ view.

  63. Thunder, Perfect Mind: The Most Contradictory Text in Gnostic Literature

A line printed in italics as Sophia’s words is not in the Thunder and is now the page’s own reading; a quotation that skipped two lines now shows the gap; Philemon’s “thoughts have a life of their own” is now a paraphrase sourced to Memories, Dreams, Reflections, not the Red Book; and the lead-in to “Do not be ignorant of me” now describes what the text says. The page said Elaine Pagels aligns the poem’s voice with Eve-Sophia; The Gnostic Gospels presents it as the voice of a feminine divine power, and the Eve-Sophia reading is now the page’s own. It also called Bentley Layton one of the foremost scholars; that epithet is gone and his reading is cited to his introduction in The Gnostic Scriptures (1987).

The Principle of Mentalism, called “the Hermetic law”, is now credited to The Kybalion (1908). The page said Elaine Pagels’s study documents in detail that Valentinian readers were not importing a foreign vocabulary into Paul. It now names The Gnostic Paul (1975) and says what it does, examining how Valentinian exegetes read Paul’s letters and arguing they could be read in a gnostic as well as an orthodox way; the point about vocabulary is the page’s own conclusion.

God-Man (1920) gives only the days the Moon spends in your own Sun sign, when a monthly seed is born (p. 126), and rejects fasting (p. 103), so the first half of the window and the fast are now presented as later practice, described but not recommended, and the pages no longer offer a “gentle version” to readers who should not fast. Several details now follow the books: the oil and the seed are kept apart and the monthly timing belongs to the seed; the thirty-three vertebrae as the years of a life are marked as not in Carey; continence is his rule at all times, not only in the window; the lungs for Gemini come from Perry; four cell-salt glosses (Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius) follow The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation (1932), now credited to both authors; and the window lasts about four and a half days, not five.

Astrologers have tracked the turns since antiquity, but reading them as a set time to review what was said and signed is modern and spread in the late twentieth century; the answer now says so.

  10. 2 pages: Initiation Paths; Find Your Path

The page described the paths as “structured journeys” and “a living curriculum”; each path is one pillar’s posts, oldest first, and the page now says so. The path cards gave David Hawkins’ 200 threshold without saying his numbers come from muscle testing, called the Kybalion’s principles “hermetic law” without dating the book (1908), presented the seven alchemical operations as the process itself rather than one modern scheme (Ripley, 1471, has twelve gates), and merged Sophia, Shakti and the Shekhinah into one principle; each card now says where the claim comes from. The quiz could never put the Matrix Decoded or Shadow & Psyche path first; now every path can come out on top.

  11. Lexicon API Documentation

The documentation gave the results limit as 1 to 500; the API caps it at 100, and the page now says 1 to 100. It described definition as a one- or two-sentence definition while the API returned the first 200 characters of the entry, and fullContent as Markdown while it is plain text; definition now returns the paragraph under the entry’s Definition heading, and both fields are described as they are. The licence notice now says that passages quoted from other authors and translators keep their own copyright and are not covered by CC BY-SA 4.0, and the example response no longer describes an archon as a cosmic parasitic entity.

  12. The Practice

The descriptions of The Frequency Diagnostic and The Courage Calibration Protocol used the 200 threshold and “the exact frequency you are running on” without saying where the numbers come from; both now name David Hawkins’ scale and say its numbers come from muscle testing. The PDFs of six protocols were also corrected: solve et coagula is a later alchemists’ motto, not a line of the Emerald Tablet; an invented quotation from “ancient astrologers” is gone and the Saturn return ages match the calculator; the Kybalion is dated to its first Chicago printing in 1908 and the Corpus Hermeticum described as Greek treatises of c. 100–300 CE gathered later by Byzantine editors; and several claims of ancient origin (for active imagination, Gurdjieff and alternate-nostril breathing) now name their real, later sources.

  13. Free Esoteric Tools: Moon, Chrism Fast, Saturn Return

The page said the Hermetic schools used the heavens as a clock for inner work, including “when to fast”; the check found no Hermetic text that times fasting by the sky, so the page now cites the one attested case, the Discourse on the Eighth and Ninth from Nag Hammadi, which times a sacred act by the sky. It also said all six tools compute rather than guess; four compute from the ephemeris and two ask questions, and the page now says so. The Chrism Fast card now speaks of a monthly window rather than a five-day one.

  14. Pleroma — The Fullness of Hidden Knowledge

The cosmology map on the home page called the Demiurge “the blind creator — architect of the material prison”, one school’s reading given as the only one; it now names both, the ignorant maker of the lower world (Valentinian) or its jealous ruler (Sethian), describes Sophia’s layer as Wisdom’s passion cast out of the Fullness rather than a fall into matter, and no longer calls the kenoma a realm of illusion. In the codex folios, the gloss that “later readers” matched the archons to the planets now says ancient readers already did (Irenaeus, Origen), the Pistis Sophia codex is “usually dated to the late fourth century” rather than dated outright, and the Colossians 2:9 gloss no longer names Paul as its author.

  1. Archons vs Demons: What's the Difference?

Two sentences were reworded. The post described the fall of Lucifer in its own voice, as though it were a single scriptural account; it is a narrative Christian tradition assembled from several texts over centuries, and the sentence is now attributed to that tradition and carries a Legendary label. The post also said Carl Jung “read the Nag Hammadi texts and recognized their clinical precision”; Jung worked mainly from the Church Fathers who quoted the Gnostics, the Nag Hammadi codices came to light only in 1945, and we cannot source the claim about what he recognised. That sentence now says what he read and marks the bridge he offers as a reading rather than a finding.

  1. What Are Archons? The 7 Gnostic Rulers, Named and Decoded

One sentence stated a traditional cosmology as fact in our own voice: that Yaldabaoth, ignorant of the Pleroma above him, created the archons as extensions of his will. No source we opened attests it — the claim ledger for this page covers Yaldabaoth's boast and Paul's archontes, not the making of the seven. The sentence now says the Sethian telling has it that way, and it carries a Legendary label.

  1. Who Is Sophia? The Gnostic Goddess Who Fell from the Pleroma

The English page said that when Yaldabaoth fashioned the human being, “Sophia secretly breathed her divine spark into it”. The Apocryphon of John, the text the page cites, says the opposite about who does the breathing: the mother petitions the Mother-Father, five lights are sent down to the chief archon, and they advise him to blow into the body’s face — “And he blew into his face the spirit which is the power of his mother; he did not know (this), for he exists in ignorance.” The spark is hers, but it arrives through him, by a trick, and not by an act of hers. The sentence now says that, quotes the passage, and carries a Documented label. The Bulgarian page never made the claim; it now carries the same corrected passage so both locales say the same thing.

  1. Nepsis

The page cited its Evagrius quotation as “Praktikos 6” and said the sentence “closes his catalogue of the eight generic thoughts”. Both are true of the Praktikos, but neither could be checked against the page we linked to, which prints the sentence as “From the Praktikos” with no chapter number and places it in the paragraph that opens the list rather than after it. The quotation itself was never in doubt. The link now goes to Luke Dysinger’s own numbered translation, where chapter 6 is numbered and the sentence does follow the eight, and the quotation is given in that edition’s wording, with his bracketed insertions marked as the translator’s. “Generic” has become “principal”, the word the cited edition uses.

  1. The 7 Hermetic Principles Explained (With Practices)

Two sentences stated traditional material as fact in our own voice: that the “Thrice-Great” title signals mastery of alchemy, astrology and theurgy, and that meditating on a principle’s symbol activates that principle in your consciousness. No source we opened attests either. Both now say the tradition reads it, or teaches it, that way, and both carry a Legendary label.

  1. Pistis Sophia

The page called Pistis Sophia “the longest surviving Gnostic text” and called the Authades “the most hostile Archon”. Neither claim is in Mead’s 1921 translation, the page’s only cited source, whose introduction describes the Askew Codex the other way, as “a collection or a miscellany, and not a single consistent work”. The superlative is gone: the page now quotes Mead’s own description and says the title is a convention rather than a description. The Authades is described as the text describes him — the third triple-power of the thirteenth aeon, who joins the Archons of the twelve aeons against Sophia and emanates the lion-faced power she takes for the true Light.

  1. The 200 Threshold: Why Courage Is the Gateway State

The post said the amygdala fires in 12 milliseconds and dominates the brain below 200, that at 200 the prefrontal cortex takes charge and opens what neuroscientists call the “reflective gap”, that Gnostic initiates climbing past the Archons were shifting control from amygdala to prefrontal cortex, and that their passwords were frequencies. None of that has a source. The post now cites a recording of fast amygdala responses in humans (about 74 ms), marks the mapping of threat responses onto Hawkins’ levels as its own reading, and says the passwords in the ascent stories, as in the Gospel of Mary, are words. Hawkins’ energy and “physics” claims are attributed to him as a map, not a measurement; the sentence about the vagus nerve and the body healing after 200 is gone; On the Origin of the World and the Apocryphon of John are now paraphrased as they read (Pistis calls the chief ruler Samael, blind god; Epinoia is sent out of mercy, not as an act of courage).

  2. The Sacred Pause: Why 3 Seconds Breaks Every Reactive Loop

The post said the amygdala fires in 12 milliseconds and that the prefrontal cortex needs about three seconds to override a reaction, making three seconds the minimum neurological interval for a conscious response. No study shows that; three seconds is now presented as the practice’s own rule, and the research the page does mention is cited (Libet 1983; fast amygdala responses at about 74 ms, 2016). It also said On the Origin of the World calls the Archons “rulers of blindness”, a phrase the text does not use; it now quotes the text’s own line, “For they are blind: against their own interests they ignorantly created him.” The search title no longer says three seconds breaks any reaction.

The post said Jung wrote extensively on calcinatio in Mysterium Coniunctionis and tied it to his patients, that Pistis Sophia’s thirteen repentances were layers stripped away by the light, and that metanoia is often mistranslated as repentance. It now credits the operation-by-operation reading to Edward Edinger, follows Mead’s translation (the powers of Self-willed take her light; the repentances are her pleas), cites Liddell and Scott for metanoia, adds Ripley and Lavoisier on calx, and no longer tells readers their signs are “not depression”.

The post said the cave allegory “is not describing ignorance”; Plato introduces it as a figure of how far our nature is enlightened or unenlightened, and the section now says so, quoting Jowett’s translation. It also said Advaita calls the turning “recognition”; it now says self-knowledge. The Republic, Descartes, Putnam and Bostrom’s paper are now cited.

  5. Soul Retrieval: Reclaiming the Fragments of Your Divine Spark

The post said the Tripartite Tractate states that the divine does not rest while any fragment of itself remains scattered; the text says no such thing, and the post now quotes its actual passage on the restoration. It said Jung recognised shamanic soul loss and the Gnostic scattering as clinical dissociation; it now cites his essay “Concerning Rebirth” and marks the three-way equation as the page’s own synthesis. The Valentinian myth now follows Irenaeus, and the signs of soul loss (including fatigue and addiction) are attributed to soul-retrieval teaching rather than stated as fact.

  6. Simulation Hypothesis vs Gnosticism: Same Prison, Different Maps

The post said the Nag Hammadi texts call the shift “the pneumatic awakening”, describe it in practice, and warn specifically about the psychic level, and that the three classes were not castes. The term is the site’s own; the ascent quoted now comes from the Gospel of Mary (Berlin Codex), the psychic level from Irenaeus’s report, and how fixed the classes were is now marked as debated. “Modern simulation theory rests on digital physics” now reads as a tendency of popular simulation talk, and the archons “feeding” on emotions is attributed to modern readings.

  7. Simulation Hypothesis and Plato's Cave Allegory: 2,400 Years of the Same Diagnosis

The post read the cave’s fire as the intellect and the carried objects as the Forms; it now follows Plato’s own key, quoted from Jowett’s translation: the fire is the sun and the ascent is the soul’s rise to the intelligible world. It said Alain Aspect’s 1982 experiment showed particles instantly influencing each other across vast distances; it now describes what the Orsay test measured, a violation of Bell’s inequalities that no local hidden-variable theory can produce. David Bohm’s hologram reading was presented as an answer to that result; it is now dated to his 1980 book and says the universe “behaves like” a hologram, not that it “is” one. The 2017 paper was called evidence that our universe may be information on a two-dimensional boundary; the post now says its authors tested holographic models of the early universe against Planck satellite data and that the standard model still scored better overall. The Bekenstein bound was said to cap the information in any region by its boundary area; the post now separates black-hole entropy (Bekenstein 1973, Hawking 1975) from the holographic principle, a conjecture of the 1990s. The Planck length was said to be where space and time become granular; it is now given as 1.616 × 10⁻³⁵ m (CODATA 2022), with granularity left as an open question.

  8. 173 lexicon entries, among them Plato's Cave, Mercurial Water, Nous, Basilides, Pranayama, Vagus Nerve, Nadi Shodhana and Loosh

Each of these entries now lists the primary sources it rests on, and in dozens of them a claim was reworded or attributed to match what those sources say. Plato’s Cave follows Plato’s own key to the allegory (the prison is the world of sight, the fire is the sun, the ascent is the soul’s) where it had read the fire as the intellect, and its prisoners are chained from childhood, as in Jowett, not from birth. Mercurial Water no longer quotes Jung calling Mercurius “the divine hermaphrodite”; it reports his essay The Spirit Mercurius, in which Mercurius is made of all conceivable opposites. Nous no longer says the divine Mind is “implanted in” every person: in the Corpus Hermeticum (IV) reason is shared by all, while Mind is sent down in a cup as a prize for souls, so the entry now says “offered to”. Basilides no longer places Jung’s 1916 Seven Sermons “two years into the Somme”, a battle that began in July 1916; it now says two years into the war. Pranayama, Vagus Nerve and Nadi Shodhana no longer state effects on the vagus nerve, cortisol, heart-rate variability or anxiety as established fact (one said modern research “corroborates” the tradition); they attribute such claims to the Hatha Yoga Pradipika or say what laboratory studies have examined. Loosh now follows Monroe’s own passage in Far Journeys (1985), a “rote” from a visitor he calls BB about Earth as a Garden grown for loosh, in which the purest loosh comes from unfulfillment and loneliness; it had said a non-human intelligence explained that pain yields the most concentrated loosh.

  1. How this is written

The third welcome email said that before a page or a letter is published, a verifier opens every source it quotes, and that a claim with no source a machine can open does not go out. Neither held for every page: many lexicon entries still go live with no sources, the quotation check covers the pages whose byline says so, and the catalogue lookup covers the English posts. This page also said every quotation on those pages was checked, though the checker finds most quotations rather than provably all, and that the welcome emails pass the same source checks as the pages. Their 1999 book Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse credits Puleo alone with decoding them from verse numbers in the Book of Numbers, so the post and its FAQ now attribute the decoding to Puleo as the book presents it, and “popularised in 1999” now reads “earliest known source”. All three now attribute the figure to Hawkins and say that his calibrations were muscle tests and that applied kinesiology fails blinded tests; two sources are cited on each page. The post also said heart-rate-variability research “has demonstrated” coherent heart rhythms above 200; it now reports what one cited HeartMath study compared (anger and appreciation, not Hawkins’ levels). The Calibration entry defined calibration as “the method of measuring” consciousness and repeated his “consistent results across more than 250,000 calibrations” without the evidence against the method. How to report an error

Write to pleroma@pleroma.guide. Name the page, quote the sentence, and say what is wrong with it. A link to a source helps but is not required — “this date is wrong” is a complete report.

What happens next: the page is fixed, and the change is listed above with its date, what changed, and your name or handle if you want it there. If you would rather not be named, say so and the entry reads “anonymous”.

If the claim turns out to be defensible, you get an answer explaining why and no entry appears. A disagreement is not a correction, and this log does not pretend otherwise.
