How the tradition reads it
Most year-ahead pages tell you what will happen to you. This one cannot, and does not try. What it can do is put the dated facts of 2027 in one place — computed, not copied — and read them the way the Hermetic tradition read a sky: as the timetable of a school, not the script of a play. The Moon fills 12 times. The Earth shades her 3 times, and every one of those shadings is penumbral — the faint outer shadow, the kind you have to be looking for to see. The Moon covers the Sun twice, once leaving a ring and once leaving nothing at all.
Mercury turns back 3 times, and there is a pattern worth sitting with: each retrograde of 2027 begins in a water sign and ends in the air sign before it — Pisces back into Aquarius, Cancer back into Gemini and Scorpio back into Libra. Three times the messenger leaves the feeling and returns to the thought that preceded it. The tradition calls Mercury the Logos in motion, the word that carries meaning between worlds; when the word runs backward from water to air, what was felt is asked to be said again, more exactly.
The slow planets set the room: Saturn in Aries, Neptune in Aries, Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius, and Jupiter crossing from Leo into Virgo on 26 July. None of that happens to you. All of it is weather in the room where you are already doing the work. Use the timeline below the way a student uses a syllabus — not to know the grade, but to know when the exams are.

Tonight, read the timeline once, slowly, and notice which single date your attention snags on. Not the most dramatic one — the one that makes something in the chest or the gut shift. That is your station for the year.
Write that one date on a piece of paper and put it where you will see it in the morning. Do nothing else. When the date arrives, sit for ten minutes in silence before you do anything, and notice what the day is actually made of. That comparison — what you expected against what came — is the whole teaching of a calendar.

- With astronomy-engine, an open-source ephemeris accurate to about one arcminute, run at build time. Moon phases come from the Sun–Moon elongation, eclipses from the engine's eclipse search, Mercury's stations from its geocentric longitude sampled every six hours and refined to the minute. Everything is UTC and was checked against NASA's eclipse catalogue and published phase tables.
